These terms apply to every giveaway and competition run by Vault 151 on Instagram or any other social account. The post for each giveaway tells you the prize, the closing date and how to enter. If a post and these terms ever disagree, the post wins for that giveaway.
- Free to enter. No purchase needed, ever.
- UK only, 18 or over. Under 18s can take part through a parent or guardian's account.
- Picked at random from valid entries, and the draw is shown on our stories.
- We only contact winners from @v151.co.uk. We will never ask you to pay, share card details or click a link to claim.
Who runs it
Giveaways are run by Vault 151, a UK sole trader (the promoter). You can reach us at support@v151.co.uk.
Who can enter
Giveaways are open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Anyone under 18 can take part through an account run by their parent or guardian, and the prize will be sent to that parent or guardian. Vault 151, anyone who helps run the giveaway, and their immediate families cannot enter.
Entries must come from a real, personal account. Accounts that exist only to enter giveaways, bot accounts, and anyone using several accounts to get extra entries will be disqualified.
How to enter
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Unless the post says otherwise, to enter you must:
- Follow @v151.co.uk on Instagram, and still be following when the winner is drawn.
- Like the giveaway post.
- Tag a friend in a comment on the giveaway post. Each comment tagging a different real friend counts as one entry, up to a maximum of 5 entries per person. Tagging brand accounts, celebrities or the same friend twice does not count.
Bonus entry. Share the giveaway post to your story and tag @v151.co.uk for one extra entry. We can only see shares from public accounts, so bonus entries only count for public accounts.
That makes a maximum of 6 entries per person.
Opening and closing
Each giveaway opens when the post goes live and closes at the date and time given in the post (UK time). Entries made after the closing time will not count.
Picking the winner
The winner is picked at random from all valid entries, using a random comment picker, within 48 hours of the giveaway closing. The draw is screen recorded and shared on our Instagram stories. Every entry is checked before the winner is confirmed, and if the entry drawn does not meet these terms, we draw again.
Contacting the winner
We will announce the winner's Instagram handle on our stories and send them a direct message from @v151.co.uk. That is the only account we ever contact winners from. Scam accounts often copy giveaway pages, so please check the handle carefully. We will never ask a winner to pay anything, share bank or card details, or log in anywhere to claim a prize. If you get a message like that, it is not us. Please report it.
The winner has 72 hours to reply with a UK postal address. If we do not hear back in time, we will draw a new winner.
The prize
The prize is exactly as described and shown in the giveaway post. There is no cash alternative, and the prize cannot be swapped or transferred. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we will replace it with something of equal or greater value.
Sealed product is sent sealed. Single cards are sent sleeved and toploaded, in the condition shown in the post.
Delivery
We post prizes free by tracked delivery to a UK address within 14 days of receiving the winner's details. If it is easier, the winner can collect the prize from our table at a card show instead. We cannot be held responsible for a prize that goes missing because the address given was wrong.
Your details
We only use the winner's name and address to send the prize, and we delete them once it has arrived. We never sell or share your details. As required by UK advertising rules, we will give the winner's first name and county to anyone who asks, unless the winner objects. Entering a giveaway does not sign you up to any mailing list.
The small print
We can cancel, pause or change a giveaway if something outside our control stops it running fairly, such as fraud, a technical problem, or a change to Instagram's rules. If we do, we will say so on the original post. Our decision on anything to do with a giveaway is final, and we are always happy to explain it. These terms are governed by UK law.
